can someone please tell me if you can bluetooth pictures,music or anything else from a HTC phone to any other phone because my mate says that you cant do this on any of there phones,the reason is because my contract is up and i was thinking of getting a htc phone next

Which HTC phone?

Windows Mobile based ones, yes.
Android based ones, No.... unless you get one of the software addons working, which can be hit and miss. But out of the box, no.

so if i get the HTC HD 2 that would do bluetooth then because that has got windows mobile 6.5 on,is that correct ?

If you get an Android based HTC there is an application called Bump which lets you transfer (certain) files wirelessly which works very well. But the person you are transferring to also has to have Bump - so that's iPhone or Android and means it is limited...
