Bluetooth from non Bluetooth TV to apple airpods

Any advice please on transmitting Bluetooth sound from non Bluetooth TV to Apple AirPods?
Suggestions for workable solution appreciated.

Agree with JayCee. However Blutooth adapters abound . Given the info on the TV a recommendation can be easily made.

Something like this should do but buy it from somewhere like Amazon where you can return for a refund if unsuitable.
Using Wireless Bluetooth from a TV to headphones can sometimes result in the pic being out of sync with the sound, you won't know until you try.

Thank you. I was hoping that I could get a Bluetooth transmitter that plugged into an HDMI socket that draws its power from a USB socket. Perhaps that’s not possible..

No, it isn't possible.
HDMI sockets on TV's are inputs (discounting ARC) and don't output audio.
There are other brands and models on Amazon.
The main thing you need is optical in.
You can power some of them from the TV's USB sockets.
