ok very quick question. i have a DAC for hifi and will be getting a new iphone soon. I'm looking for a bluetooth receiver with digital output.

any suggestions?

Is this the sort of thing you are looking for? It only works for Sony with a Digital Media Port.

yes and no.


the idea is very similar except that instead of having the sony's rubbish DM port adaptor it would have an optical output.

i also looked into maybe taking a ''tap'' out of the cable and ''jimmy rigging'' the digital out but it seems that the DIGITAL media port sony are flogging is anything but digital only having a provision analogue 2 channel signal.

more research for me.
