Bluetooth audio receiver for older AV amps

Dear Members

Amp (Yamaha RXV440) and Sony music system are both old school by today's standards. Playing Spotify from laptop, tablet or phone needs cable connections.
I have bought two Bluetooth Receivers to try and simply plugged it into the line-up socket of the Sony synced the tablet and device and off we go.
However, I haven't a clue with the Yamaha Amp. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

you need a mini jack plug to left and right RCA adaptor cable:

Ugreen Stereo 3.5mm jack Female to 2RCA Male Stereo: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

Connect the Bluetooth receiver to the female jack input on the cable and then the left and right RCA plugs to the left and right RCA input on the receiver. Select the source associated wit the inputs when wanting to use the Bluetooth receiver to play audio accessed via it.
