This is the third time I've mentioned minipods so I apologise!!! (I have now deleted the other threads though!) I love these speakers. I have 2 that I've been using as a stereo pair for some time now and am ready to upgrade to a 5.1 system. They definately lack bass but I intend to get a sub and I have read in various reviews that a fifth minipod doesn't cut it as a centre speaker. So... I want to use 4 minipods in total - my fronts and rears - and then add in a separate sub and centre. Does anybody use minipods in their set-up. Has anybody auditioned them in a surround set-up? My guess in terms of the centre was that I would get the best match from a B&W speaker (blueroom being started by former B&W engineers). As for the sub, I'm really not sure - I don't think I'll go with blueroom's basestation as it doesn't really pack enough of a punch for me... Any thoughts would be greatfully received. The rest of my set-up is now as follows: Loewe Articos 32" Arcam DV88 Arcam AVR200 (Maybe the minipods would be selling the system short...?) Cheers, Wilbur.
