    Help!

My main PC keeps crashing, seems to be OK when just using word etc.

It come up with win32.sys address: BF837815 base at BF800000

    I have Athlon XP2800, 1024MB DDR400, 350W PS, Win XP Pro, Geforce Ti4400.

Do I need to wipe it?

    Probably not.

You could try going back to your last restore point to see if that fixes it.

Otherwise it sounds likely to be either some badly seated cards/memory in the case or the PSU is on the way out.

Try each of the above suggestions (first 2 are free, last will cost you maybe £15) before you go to the extreme of wiping it.

I'd test the memory first, with memtest+.

Get yourself a drive imaging package like Norton Ghost or Acronis Trueimage. Next time you get a bluescreen its a 10 minute job to restore a stable boot disc.
