Hi all, newbie here with probably stupid question but.......

I recently bought a Toshiba D-R1 for my Tosh 36ZP18Q crt. I bought it for the prog scan but basically when I hit the prog scan button- picture dissapears to blue screen :(. I am using the component conections. Am I being really thick here or what? I'm totally new to this scan thing, picture is fine until you hit that button :(

    Any ideas, please :D
