Good Afternoon,
Over the past few days windows xp pro sp3 has been quite lethargic, seemingly coming to a head this morning whenever I tried to start up my desktop pc. It loads past the windows screen and onto the desktop before consistently and immediately going to a blue screen with the error:
"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down...
DRIVER_IQRL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP 0 x 00000D1 (0 X 00000004, 0 X 00000002, 0 X 000000000, 0 X0X7F05335)
...."
I don't really know specifically what this error is or how to fix it. I tried system restore but it couldn't restore (not that I thought that would work). I can enter safe mode.
I unplugged everything but the monitor from the back of my computer and tried starting it. That didn't achieve anything.
There is nothing under device manager that is flagged up.
I recently ran AVG and no virus was detected.
Of course some of my attempts to solve the problem may be irrelevant but I just thought i'd note them.
Any suggestions welcome.
