blue screen on dvd player

hi ive bought a dvd player for my car and it has a motorised screen i can get the screen out but its just a blue screen on it, any ideas on how to solve this have i wired it up wrong or is it unfixable? cheers

which headunit is it matey?? have you connected the bastard wire to the handbrake??
