Hi all, just gone to give the Blue Planet 2 series a whirl now it has been released in 4k on iPlayer but can't get it working on my MU7070. Just had a look at the list of supported TV's and it appears that the MU7070 isn't supported whilst the MU6070 and MU7000 are. Does anyone know of any reason why the 7070 wouldn't be supported whilst the others are?

As the 7070 is just a variation of the 7000 it should be supported. It uses the same firmware. There's a bit on the iPlayer support page saying that all Samsung models are waiting on an 'imminent' firmware update. Who knows when that'll be waiting on Samsung.

"Please note that Samsung devices listed are awaiting an imminent firmware update to support our UHD streams and may not be updated in time for the release of Blue Planet II in UHD on Sunday 10 December. "

My Samsung 4K is not supported.
I think this is a very poor show!
Having a 4K tv I would naturally have expected to be able to watch 4K content on the iPlayer.....but turns out I was rather naive.
