just replaced my 37pf9986 due to dead pixel and thought id tryout the pip due to the posts about colour problems ie blue /pink (hadnt tried it on my previous set)

i have now a perfect set but with pip any setting that uses a large format ie dual screen the larger image has a blue cast

yet if i use pip 1 (the one with the adjustable little box that you can move around ) its perfect and split between ceefax and large screen is ok.

i dont really want to send it back again as i have a perfect screen and i might get another turd as a replacement , but at the end of the day its a lot of cash even though i wont use pip probably

    anyone fixed this problem

Can the Yammi output Progressive Scan? If it doesn't, and I bet it doesn't, you will not get a picture. The DVI input on the TV requires Progressive Scan....

On the PIP problem, have you tried the other PIP settings? ie PIP, PIP3 and PIP6? Try these and report your findings....
