Now corrected on the website. Showing as £38.49. I got an order in at the misprice but I don't expect it to be honored.

Eariler it was priced at 17.99 as a special offer and i managed to grab that before it changed and it's been dispatched.

Kinda sad to see it a few hours later at 8.49 and people on forums have had theres dispatched at that price.

Haha guess it's human nature to still feel a bit ripped off despite the insanly cheap price i still got...

Great to hear you got those bargain miss-prices honoured, kudos to powerplaydirect, sadly not many miss-prices get honoured in these days of bargain forums:thumbsup:

Well thats not the reason he gave....anyways, a ban on trading on here still wont effect me....Im not making a profit either, just gonna use them to trade in for other games in a shop....the only cash changing hands is my original £8.49 and then the £9.99 for a new game with the trade :-D

There is no logic in that. Obviously if you're buying it for £8.49 and then spending another £9.99 to get a new game it's costing you a total £18.48. A game that normally would have cost you around £40. Obviously your saving money there and as a result indirectly making a profit.

I think the point you're missing is that it is in effect being greedy buying more then one copy at what is clearly a mis price and using it to your advantage to get another game cheaper. It may not be illegal but it is a moral issue and one that is neither tolerated nor condoned by these forums.

That is just your word and there is no proof that you didn't actually get the information from this thread in the first place.

I personally can't understand why people get so bothered that someone else picked up two games at a bargain (miss)price.
It's not like anyone else is missing out as the game is still there to buy, all be it now at full price. If you wanted the game, surely you were willing to pay full price anyway.!?!

Good on you lostboybinns for getting in there quick enough to grab the bargain and being smart enough to grab an extra one while you were there.:smashin:

Blockbusters are obviously going to make money off the back of this trade in no matter how he got the game or they wouldn't be doing the offer and you can be sure they'll be selling at more than half price for a second hand game.

It seems fine for the shops to blatantly rip us off with their prices but when someone manages a bargain, (and lets face it, how many times do online retailers honour their mistakes anyway (moral issue there?)), they are the son of satan for having no morals.

    thats my rant anyway.

    nice one lostboybinns:smashin::thumbsup:

Tell it to someone who cares.

The forum rules are clearly stated. If you break them, there's no use whining that you get the pre-advertised punishment. If you don't like them, there's a whole forum where you can have your say.

It's the fact that the person took away a deal from someone who actually wanted to play the game rather then profit off it.

No it isn't. He didn't deny anyone anything.

It's bragging about buying multiples to sell for a profit that got him the ban.
