A friend of mine has just upgraded his machine to a monster Dell PC with built in Blu-Ray drive. He used to do the occasional screen capture from DVD's on his old PC but he was hoping that this new one would enable him to do the same with BD but it looks like PowerDVD has diabled this feature for BD.

Does anyone know the simplist way of screen capturing HD from the blu-ray drive he has? At the moment he having to dump the contents of the BD onto his HDD and then use Media Player Classic to capture. Any better ideas without having to dump first?

Cheers mate, I'll let him know. Might even try it on my HTPC although whats the betting it won't play Blu-Ray or HD-DVD's from file format and only from a drive :(

It plays HD and Blu ray from Hard Drive (Iso).

But like "other" HD playing software, some HD DVDs put English Subtitles on the screen which you cant get rid of! (unless someone has figured out how to do it)
