Blu-Ray and surround sound...?

Hey everyone.

I've been trying to find a solution for a while now and I thought who better to ask for help than you guys. You certainly seem to know your stuff.

I am wanting to dive into the world of Blu-Ray but I would like to achieve a few other things at the same time.

I have a HDTV, Sky HD and a 360. Adding a Blu-Ray would be great but I want all my devices running through surround sound.

Would I have to look at a control centre type box with HDMI in's and outs to have all my devices running through (for surround sound) or is there a Blu-Ray player which would also allow my Sky and 360 to plug in to it?

Price isn't really my concern. I want the latest spec and a top performer.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Hi. :)
Sounds like a HDMI amp and speaker setup would suit your needs?

If you have no surround sound system or speakers there is very little point in plugging anything into a HDMI box or similar.

You need to be looking at either all-in-one surround sound systems which usaually come with AV receiver and 5 speakers or a seperates system where you choose your own AV Reciever and speakers.

Prices probably start at £200ish and the sky is the limit.

Check out the advertisers on here for a good selection of what's on offer and have a good read of the forum to decided which is your best option

Hey guys.

Thanks for the replies.

I think your right kingfats, a HDMI amp sounds right. I'll have a look at the forums for what people have to say about em'.

Cheers.
