Hi everyone,
Since the 6G, Pioneer Plasma TV's were already capable to play 24fps based content at 3 x 24 = 72 Hz for judderfree, smooth playback.
Now, I would like to know, how the new Samsung PS50P96FDX 50" Full HD & the new Panasonic TH-50PZ70B 50" Full HD handle this 1080p24 signal. Are these sets really capable to play Blu-ray / HD DVD as smooth as on a Pioneer Plasma TV?
And what are they doing with the 1080p24 signal? Do they multiply and divide the frame rate in real time like this 24 x [-]3[/-] 5 / 2 = 60 Hz
