Anyone having the same problems as me with their digibox?

It locks, It switches itself off. Program listings in the blue box are not available sometimes!!!!

Its a Panasonic and I've had it a long time since new but its annoying!!

Anyone know what the problem might be??? And would I need to pay for it or would Sky replace it if it meant that I'd stop paying for subscription when it finally stops working?

I'd love to get Sky+ but considering that I have Sky World package and hardly watch more than 5 channels paying more ££ isn't an option.

    Anyone had similar probs?? Thanks.

A lot of older boxes have problems after a while. I seem to remember that Panasonic offer a fixed price out of warranty swap out service... http://www.panasonic.co.uk/support/

Also I think Sky will rectify any such problems (often by replacing the box) for around £60 :)

You can check it yourself to some extent. See
    http://www.satcure.co.uk/digibox.htm
Click on the link: "Got a fault? DIY repair or send it away".
    Read that page.

Follow the general advice to prove whether your Digibox is faulty or not.

If it IS faulty then, at the bottom of that page, you will find a link to Panasonic faults.
