Bloody Angry at Samsung Upgrade

Upgraded my software to the latest firmware today in the hope of getting the ITV app (but I didn't get it).

Now, I have lost details on the source where it used to state SAT/STB for HDMI1 and DVI/PC for HDMI3.

In addition, the biggest bug bear is the sound is awful.

Where as I used to set it at a max of 15, now it has to be on 30.

Any ideas? Can I go back to an older version of the firmware?

On my Sammy you get to select from a list of input names.

I could on mine too until I did the upgrade. The names have now gone, I just see input channels.

Interestingly, I managed to fix the audio option by enabling the TV surround sound option again. (I got rid of my 5.1 system coz I was getting a lot if interference on it, which I also get on my PC speakers).

when you press source press tools and you should be able to do it, i foound that my sound went bad when i updatd to 1027 very tinny and low in volume, and im sure its the reason for my image retention im back on 1024 on my plasma as its much brighter and the sound is better.

what model do you have.

That would certainly annoy me! Maybe they have made it an option with the Tools command.
