Blood, Guts, Bullets and Octane (Joe Carnahan, DVD)

Anyone seen this from 1998? I really enjoyed it. Obviously they had no money (IMDb says the budget was $7,300 -maybe) but there's a lot of good script and I didn't really see the ending coming.

Watched the French DVD ("Blood and Bullets") of this I think it's the only version that's anamorphic not sure about the German disc I do see it listed in places as 16:9. It has forced subtitles which are easily shifted from view with my Panasonic DMP-UB300EB or DVDShrink.

If you like Carnahan's work this is definitely worth a look.

I watched this a hour after the special fried rice Free Guy and it's approximately 1,000,000,000 a better film. Approximately. Made me realise all hope is not lost. I need to be remembered more and more.
