Blocking channels on FTA satellite

Hi,

I have a sky digibox which is just receiving the free to air channels (cancelled the sky contract) Is there any way to implement the perental controls to only allow certain channels or can that only be done with a sky contract?
Any suggestions greatfully received.

Try it to see if it will lock out channels you don't want available - i.e. suck it and see.
You have nothing to lose by attempting this.

Thanks Chris, tried the perental controls - just got the good old insert sky viewing card message.

You should kep the card in the slot even if you have cancelled your sub as it will still give you the three FTV channels. It will also allow you to store favourites and to access the control functions.
