The final amount will depend on the trade in value of the 6 games. You are quarenteed £20 off + what the games fetch in my case this was another £20

not sure, but note gamestation seems to be selling all new games for 39.99 now, and blockbusters is still 49.99

so the extra £10 is not worth as much as it was in terms of ofloading junk

Anyone know if Blockbuster still have the 2 titles trade in value plus £10 reduction of a chart title still running? (see post #14)

Would be useful for Gears of war etc..

They did have it at running at the leeds branch (2weeks ago will check tonight when i'm passing), but the majourity of titles where at RRP (even though they were £10 cheaper at morrisons across the road. The trade in values have gone to pot as well with most xbox/ps2 titles now only fetching at best a couple of quid each. It seemed a good offer when it started but looks like blockbusters haven't kept up with other retaillers with their prices, so the tenner off just brings them in line.

not bad seeing as comet are selling off their xbox range for 99p-9.99, with many many titles at 1.99

I mentioned Gears of War as blockbuster are doing it for £34.99 (same as pcworld) which is the cheapest price for a highstreet retailer :)

So £10 off plus the trade in value would be nice off £34.99

i just got back from Blockbuster.. i have the slight feeling of being raped, but i did get G.O.W with £10 off and completely for trade-in credit.

The manager wouldn't give me the £10 plus the trade-in value of the games, just the £10. Luckily they were both ancient ps2 games.

All in all i traded in about 15 ps2 games and about 30 dvd's and came out with G.O.W. and £26 store credit (which they can apparently write off after 6 months!!!)

Pretty poor but i would have just left them all in a pile gathering dust anyway..

Well customer services just told me that to use the offer on an xbox360 title the games you trade in must be for the xbox360.

So now it's as clear as mud again

Each different person I talk to at CS headoffice makes up different terms and conditions!

I'm tempted to ring your local store newbie1001 :)

    Cheers
