This chap is finally being retired after nearly 10 years service as a bedroom TV.

I'm going to list it for sale, but just wondered if anyone knows a way to show the total used time?

I remember many years ago replying to somebody's PM on the forum for exactly the same thing, but that's now gone.

I can access the service menu (BASS full / TREBLE low / V- and Index) but that doesn't seem to have an option for used time.

    Any help appreciated.

Managed to get hold of the service manual, so for anyone else who comes across this thread looking for the info....

    How to enter SERVICE 1

    1. Set the channel to CH99
    2. In sound menu, set BASS to MAXIMUM, and set TREBLE to MINIMUM.
    3. Simultaneously press INDEX button on remote control and DOWN button [V- ]on the TVset.

    How to enter SERVICE 2
    1. Whilst in SERVICE 1, press GREEN button repeatedly on REMOTE until JPEG Viewer is selected
    2. Press HOLD button on remote control
    3. Press GREEN button on REMOTE repeatedly to step through option codes until HOURS is displayed.

BTW Mine said 4768, that's nearly 200 days glued to the screen!!!!, but not too bad as this is only 1.6hrs a day over the 8 years I've had the TV!!
