Just in the process of getting a few blank blanking plates (standard UK 1 gang) ready for mounting on the wall. As these will be used for various cable outlets (i.e. cable straight through with no terminators), I'm just cutting a 20-30mm hole in the middle.

Obviously the cut plastic will have a sharp edge and I'm just thinking about how/what I can put around the hole to protect the cables being routed through.

    Any ideas folks?

for standard electrical size holes(20,25 32mm)you could use rubber grommits,if the hole is a non standard size/ shape then gromit strips the stuff
