Blank screen when trying to end call?

I received my iPhone 4 today but having an issue trying to end calls. If I'm on a long call when i pull the phone away from my ear the screen should come back on however it does not. Does not do it always but enough to start to annoy you. Any body else had this issue?

Always happened a few times to me. Not fussed though. Do you anything blocking the proximity sensor?

No just the bare phone. Just like the signal issue see how it goes I guess.

Just phoned apple, tried a fresh install without restoring from my previous 3GS backup and still no change. Booked an appointment to get it exchanged on sunday
