The SVP spindle pack is for Datasafe DVD-RAM's. I bought a pack and have used them all now and not had one failure or reject on my Panny E30 or JVC DVDR. I think the specs for DVD-RAM are much tighter than DVD-R so I am sure they will be just as good as Panasonic original disks IMHO.

Thanks for the head-up. The Panasonic shop has been out of stock for a lot of their RAM products recently :(

God that Panasonic EShop is very poorly designed  I placed my order all the way through to pressing the final button, it came with an error message saying I must enter my phone number and then went right back to the first screen again. I now have no idea if it accepted my order or not. I've had no email saying that they have my order, but do remember the same happened the last time I ordered something and it wasn't in stock, I didn't get confirmation until it was back in stock again. This is poor.
The phone number 01344 476540 for enquiries has been engaged since yesterday lunch time - permanently off the hook I think. The other number they give for general enquiries keeps throwing me out telling me to call back when they are less busy (08705 357357). None of my emails have been answered, so I still have no idea if I've ordered anything

I could be wrong on this but I seem to remember reading that there are literally only 3 or 4 manufacturers of RAM discs- Panasonic, TDK and a couple of others. All are good quality. Although there are lots of brands around they are all made by these companies so just buy the cheapest you can find.
