Im buying a wreck. No structural problems. Just 90 years of neglect and materials coming to the end of their life.
I dont see the ground floor rotten floor joists as a problem. It's a good opportunity to beef up sound proofing so I can crank the sound up. The walls and ceiling have gone too so this is a really good time to do it right first time. Im also blessed with rewiring the house, and plumbing.
The canvas is too blank. I need some ideas as to what can be done with the place?
I honestly don't know where to start first.
No idea too mental.
The Mrs is pointing out more expensive kit in the shop and want a decent home to put decent kit in, so long as the bathroom and kitchen get done first. the WAF is 100%.
Its 3 bed mid terrace. Knackered inside and out. A bit like me.
Ill need some decent sound proofing in the floors and walls for the cinema room.
Ill be moving to Worcester Park in surrey. Can anyone recommend a builders theyve used to renovate a whole place. Ive never done DIY to this extent before so maybe Ill give some bits over : )
Thanks in advance.
