I watched Blade last night, and remembered what a stunning sound track it had. The Dolby Digital sound track combined with my first viewing on my new big screen setup (CRT projector) just blew my socks off.
One of the best Marvel comics -> film conversions IMHO. Can't wait to watch Blade 2 next week in DTS.

Damn, I didn't know such a thing existed! And I only bought Blade 1 at the weekend...
At least I only paid £7 for it.

Edit: I can't find a DTS version on Play or ebay...

The third film Blade:Trinity will be out next year and apparently features whistlers daughter taking over the vampire killing duties, i think Wesleys in it but it sounds like he's taking a backseat which i find hard to believe.

Hmmmm... two films good / three films bad syndrome?
I refer to the Godfather Trilogy, First three Aliens films and the Terminator trilogy as examples...

    Crap is a bit harsh:D
No way was it a masterpiece but it gave you what you'd expect from this genre ie. action, blood 'n' guts ,a kick ass soundtrack that entertained for the requisit time.

I saw nether of them at the pictures but I have them both on DVD and they were both bought after seeing them on a DVD loaned by a mate (although I bought both at £8).
The first Blade was the better of the two.

I'll probably buy this on dvd when it comes out to complete the collection. It'll hopefully give my system a good workout (if it's like either of the first two) and fill a couple of hours with enjoyable entertainment (me hopes)..:smashin:

I thought Blade was Better than Blade II aswell, Blade was alot darker in Blade and his clothes/body armour were cooler. The 2nd was still a dam fine sequel though with some great action.

I quite liked Blade and bought it on DVD. Blade 2 was pretty bad and despite everyone raving about the DTS sound I refuse to buy it so as not to encourage companies to make such drivel.

Did you actually watch the film before making this judgement?

Since when do hollywood take any notice of what ppl want? They've been releasing a lot poorer films than blade2 for years lol. I enjoyed both 1 & 2 feeling that 2 was more of the same. I for one will continue to watch drivel if this film was anything to go by:D

I did. I'd support his summation of Blade 2. The only saving grace was a hasbeen popstar from yesteryear.... and that's something I thought I'd never say:eek:

If Blade 2 were pants they'd be made of scratchy horsehair. And they'd itch. Just like my roids do.

Yes I watched the film. If enough people adopt the attitude that I have then the lack of DVD sales should help get the message through.

    Touché? ;)

I'd agree it was more of the same and is far from the worst film ever but I think it took a definite step down from the original.

Nice picture BTW, got a laugh from me :rotfl:

Hold down alt and type 130 on your num pad, assuming you have a PC.

    ASCII is your friend. :)
