There was susposed to a special 2 diskset release end of last year with each version of the film (original & D. Cut + extras), it was never released.
Does anyone have any further info about it?

Thanks for that, nice site, I'll keep that bookmarked for future use.

Just read an interview with Ridley Scott in 'Empire'. He is working on a new version, Skywalker will do the mixing, he also wants to condense some scenes, as the narrative is removed there are a couple of scenes where there is nothing much going on except staring. So we could be seeing a third version of the film.

I still liked the narrative version though.

I've heard about a 3 disc set too - original theatrical cut, "directors cut" (although Ridley never re-cut the film to make it, it was done by Warners) and a proper "new" directors cut from Ridley. Hopefully they'll restore the more extreme violence that got excised in later releases.
Can't wait as this one sits in my top 3 movies of all time list.
