I am an owner of an LG 50" Plasma TV.

The fault is approx 5" in from the left of the screen and is approx 4" wide, a black strip of dead pixels running from the top to the bottom of the screen and is evident on all inputs.

Anyone got any idea's ??

nothing you can fix yourself, get back onto the retailer/lg.

it could be a multitude of things, from a connection from a board to panel,or a part of the panel gone wrong(capacitor),or the panel itself.
