Hello,

I'm going to wire up some new speakers, but I don't know which of the two wire is attached to the black/red connector on the amp.

Does it matter which way around I wire them into the speakers?

Assuming it does (and I sort of am!), is there a clever way of testing which wire is which?

Thanks,
Notting

Yes it does matter, because you can end up with a speaker out of phase if connected the wrong way round.
Is the cable completely blank? usually even if both are white there will be writing on one of them along its length that can be used to denote the positive and negative sides.

What amp are they going to be connected to ?
If it has some auto-calibration on the amp, it will tell you if they are wired correctly or not.
