does anybody know where i can a black sky+ box, the pace box i currently have is the only silver bit of kit on my av stand...and it's really beginning to bug me........also can you just stick your card in a new box and it will work or do Sky need to be told about it?

You will need to tell sky to marry the card and box together.

I have heard of people painting their kit (which is much easier to make a silver box black than the other way round) but wouldnt do this until your 12 month warrenty is over

    Hi,mep
Try aerosol spray paint, pratice first on a piece of card, get a satin finish,so if you do get a few runs they will not show up too much, worth a go :)

Dont try to do it all in one go. Give it a "1st coat" and let it dry then on the 2nd go for that "show room finnish" :D
I do this for a living
    ps
Dont forget to take it to bits 1st

Paint it black, and you will not get a Sky eng to touch it again. If it ever goes wrong you will have to get it sorted out yourself.
