I've heard a track called 'Turn up the night' and it doesn't sound like Ozzy at all.

Rainbow's Ronnie James Dio was lead singer on Turn Up The Night.

Ah yes, Dio - the metal dwarf:laugh: Holy Diver and all that.

They had another guy singing for them in the late 80's too (although there's probably been more than a couple as Sabbath are still touring), can't remember his name though, my older brother was into Sabbath when we were kids. I was more of an Anthrax/Metallica kind of person at that time.

    I always had time for Man-O-War though:zonked:

rjd had a great voice - just picked up a copy of his debut solo album "holy diver" on cd, featuring vivian cambell on guitar, now with def leppard

Yeah, Dio had some great tunes. Course, Manowar beats them all. :D

On a related, check out the "Home School" episode of South Park, as they get Dio in to play at the school dance. He's singing "Holy Diver" to a bunch of 8 year olds... too funny.

Ronnie James Dio is probably the one of the oldest rockers still going. He's 63!! Still has a magnificant voice though, and has a live DVD coming out soon.

I also love Manowar, and their singer, Eric Adams has one of the best voices ever in rock music, imo. Their "Fire and Blood" DVD is fantastic, and really gives your sub-woofer a good workout.
