My Sony KDL-40W605B was spotless used it for around a year as a gaming monitor. We've just moved house and the TV was boxed up and unboxed I turned it on today an there are about 10-15 little black particles inside the screen in different places a few pixels in size, see attached photos. If I knock them they drop but stop at a lower position but not all, some are stuck. Anybody seen this? What can they be, how could they get in there and how could I get them out?

Thanks.

They look like thunder flies to me but it's not the time of year for them to be around, perhaps they were in the edges of the screen and moving it has dislodged them

These are some pics of thunder flies in my 75" xd9405 for comparison

Thanks. Yes they look the same as in yours. I bought the TV used so there may have been thunder flies or other debris under the lower frame and when I put it into the box upside down (as I left the cables connected and the back mount on) the debris could easily move to everywhere in the screen while the TV was moved. I just don't know how to get them out. I've found a thread that had a god idea:

Craftsman Hambs: Dust Particles Inside LCD Screen - How To Fix

but it didn't work for all of the "bugs" some seem to be in a deeper layer. I even injected compressed air. Some of them moved others didn't.
