I got some from the Dunelm shop.

I have no idea how widespread their shops are though.

Tou can get it in pre cut standard curtain sizes or cut to your exact requirements

Got mine from a market stall - there's usually a fabric stall on most markets. First chap I tried hadn't got any that week, but would have the next - the next chap (different market) had it - £3.50 per metre, 54" wide.

I actually got mine from a roller blind company. They made me a black out roller blind. I just need some velcro strips down the side now as there is still some leakage.

Can you provide details of the blind size (LxWxH) and the price?

    Thanks

I bought blackout lining for curtains from a shop called Knightingales (they are something to do with the Roseby's chain). Fairly expensive (about £30 per pair) but then our windows are about seven feet wide and have a six foot drop. They work well but I still have to fit some velcro so they stick to the edge of the windows (there is still a lot of light leakage around the edges).

I got mine from a Knightingales in Derby, but took it back because the piece i need was 7ft x 4ft and a curtain this big was 2 pieces put together and u could clearly see the join

I've had a chat with the wife. We got an all in deal from the roller blind people and that particular window was not priced seperatly - he "did a deal" cos we got something like 8 windows plus a conservatory done at the same time.

Thanks for this, I'll put it on my list of things to do, along with ceiling mounts. ;-)

You should be able to get it from most curtain shops/haberdashers (sp?), and I got mine from Alders.

    Gary.
