Went to see the final gig on their current tour, at the Rescue rooms, Nottingham. Great place to see bands, great atmosphere, great crowd, but, hell was it hot. Everyone came out looking like they had been swimming, full clothed.

Support band was a local group 'Clambake'. Just a drummer and guitarist, banged out some great riffy punk, early Clash / Sex Pistols stuff with a nod at grunge. Not clever, but they rocked.

Black Keys were excellent, again, this is a drum /guitarist combination (looks like the fashion), anyone that finds the White Stripes a bit on the Feminine side, but likes stripped down blues will love this stuff.

Patrick Carney plays the drums and is superb (watch out Mr Grohl ) Dan Auerbach reminds me of Clapton, in the heady days of Cream, when he was an 'on fire' blues guitarist.

Anyone that likes blues rock, in the style of the John Spencer Blues Explosion wont be disapointed, a great night, catch them next time around :smashin:
