    Hi,

I currently have a USB DigiTV connected to my PC upstairs and use it lots for recording programs and then playing over the LAN on my HTPC using Media Player Classic and DScaler 5 MPEG codec as this gives FAR SUPERIOR PQ over using the DigiTV software.

I am thinking about getting a PCI DVB-T card for the HTPC and was considering the Black Gold card, but am I right in thinking you can only use this with MCE? If not, what software/drivers do you get with the card and how good are they? I am only interested in recording the original bitstream as broadcast and don't want to compress on the fly with another codec etc.

I am a bit in the dark on the Black Gold card so any guidance would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Rob.
