If you discover a Black Friday deal on a 4K uhd player please share it, I wouldn’t mind giving one a try.

Don't know, I've had a 4k player for a year so haven't tracked them since.

I am disappointed that there are no decent Black Friday 4k disc deals. I have money in my pocket but nothing to spend it on.

I found a few that I thought looked bargains on Amazon but when I searched them they were the same price everywhere. Take for example UB320EBK Amazon are stating £199 RRP but Black Friday Deal £129 it is £129 at Richer Sounds and was £129 at the start of the week too.

This looks a promising one thank you.

Just need to decide if I need DV or not but at this price it’s tempting and I can’t see myself buying too many 4K discs at their current prices

There will be a lot of Xbox One offers today, that could be another route if you are not bothered about a dedicated 4k player. Im sure I read Xbox was/has DV too.

No DV on the UB420, DV on the UB820 and UB9000.

UB420 was also cheaper on Monday at £139 with a 'free' 20" TV, offer now over.

It must have been that price for about 10 seconds!

This is what they have listed at the moment:

4K Ultra HD Blu-ray players - Cheap 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray players Deals | Currys

So the cheapest UHD player is the Panasonic UB320 at £130. Though there is always that frankly bizarre Ebay listing above @ Post#21. A new £200 player for £23.27? If true, it won't last long!

That is likely due to Richer Sounds starting their Black Friday deals last Friday.

Except it has been that price for weeks now.

It appears there are no BF deals on these players yet! Apart from Curry's who were cheaper on Monday for the UB420 than today and the Pioneer above.

Zoom were doing a 4k Panasonic player for £99.99 a while back, but now the cheapest seems to be the £129.99 bundle with 5 UHD disks. If you wanted, you could easily sell the disks for £7 each including postage on the forum here or for a bit more on ebay to make the player cheaper. If HDR is something you like (from disks), the UB420 would be the player I'd go for though.

Unless that was a brilliant deal that's now over as it appears to be at £239 now everywhere. The Sony x500 at £139 still looks pretty good, though there are very few reviews of that one.
