Noomi Rapace (Prometheus) is set to take on the lead role of Netflix’s upcoming post-apocalyptic film Black Crab.
The movie is an adaptation of Swedish writer Jerker Virdborg’s thriller novel. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic world during an endless winter, and it follows six soldiers who are sent on a dangerous mission across the frozen sea to transport a package that could finally end the war.

Black Crab is being directed by Adam Berg, and this will be his feature film debut after a career of helming music videos and commercials.He will start production on the film in Sweden in 2021.
