    Hi

I’m looking for 32” TV. The main problem is I want a black one as I find they look less ugly and obtrusive than the modern silvers ones. No offence to all you with silver sets ;)

I have about £1000-£1500 to spend. Sound isn’t important as I have a separate Dolby setup. I mostly want to watch DVDs. Freeview would be nice but isn’t essential.

So far, the only ones that I have seen are the Sony KV32HQ100 and the Loewe Nemos.

The Sony looks okay, but does anyone know if that glass stuff comes off? I think would look odd as I wont be using a stand. From what I’ve read in these forums, there seems to be some problem with the 100Hz mode. It also seems quite pricey.

The Loewe Nemos Looks quite nice and I have seen it for under £1000. Anyone know of any problems with this set?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I would prefer a black TV aswell because it frames the picture better. I was thinking of putting some black material on my Sony, but I'm still adjusting it for picture quality so haven't got round to it.
