Ok chaps, bear with me here, this is the first time I've owned a sub, it arrived today, I've connected it up using the supplied low level phono connection from sub out on my Yamaha RXV-795 receiver to mono connection on sub. My question is what's the running in process?

    Thanks in advance.

BTW, hearing those low rumbles at last means I'm going to have to watch all my DVDs all over again. :D

I've run it overnight with the tuner on low volume, is that enough?

Just don't use it at reference level for a while.

Just an update on my BK XLS200 sub. It sounds excellent, how did I live without one before. It's opened up the sound on the whole system and given it a more "full" sound. I thought my speaker set up was good before but now it's awesome.

Thanks to all that helped in my decision making, you know who you are. :smashin:

Oh and if anyone's got any doubts about BK Electronics, don't, they're a top company selling top products. Be sure to check out their bargain corner from time to time.

I have searched the BK Electronics web site, but do not see the XLS200 sub anywhere.

    Where did you find it?

The sub was a special offer, I believe, because of surplus stocks of the bass driver used in the XLS200. It would seem that they have sold enough to remove the offer from their site. Due to the interest generated by the XLS200 (three week waiting time last I heard!) I wouldn't be surprised if a whole line of subs make an appearence sometime next year.
