    Guys
I am well overdue an AV upgrade :D and have my sights set on a meaty sub for c. £500. The overwhelming view is typically the BK range of subs, british made and seemingly a huge amount of 'bang for buck'. I know SVS/Velodyne get a lot of mention but I am not interested in 2nd hand which would be necesarry with them. Primarily it'll be used in my lounge for movies but would love it to integrate with my stereo setup occasionally in a different room (I might have to put it on wheels to move it between!!). Some questions for the sub experts:
    1) I very much like B&W gear and the ASW610 is highly rated but the stats on the Monolith/XXLS400 seem to blow it out of the water - worth crossing the ASW610 off the list?
    2) Which BK sub might be best? The Monolith or the XXLS400?
    3) I have a Cambridge 840A and CM7s as per my sig - I know I can use the sub out on my amp to integrate but is there a cost effective way to manage the crossover to lessen the load on the CM7s?

Your responses would be much appreciated.
    Steve
