BK and Y splitter?

    been reading a bit about some subs benefiting from connecting both rca`s
    does any one use a splitter, i have th mk1 XLS200

    No need what so ever. The sub combines the two inputs into a single mono signal, thus negating the splitter.

    Two inputs are provided for people with stereo amplifiers with preamp outputs that need combining onto a single signal for the sub.

    It wont harm your sub in any way if you do use one, it just sends more gain to your sub. I had to do this with my old one because the amp module was faulty and I was barely hearing the sub at all. If you do it on a 'fine' xls200 you'll only have to turn the sub gain control down anyway, which was explained to me a few months back.
