I have a Panasonic BD60 player running through an Onkyo 577 amp and into my Panasonic 37" G10 LCD. I'm using a 5.1 speaker setup from the Onkyo for all sound at the moment. It's all HDMI from BD to amp to TV.

Thing is, should I set the BD60 audio output to Bitstream or PCM mode? Which is the better sound source for my setup? I've got it set to bitstream with secondary sound off so the Dolby TrueHD works at the mo.

I'm brand spanking new to all this HD and surround gubbins in case you didn't know. :)

Cheers, fair enough. I just wondered if I was losing out on a little bit of quality, or whether seconday audio is a nec essary component for better audio quality.
