    Hi guys
I don t have a big knowledge about dvd players and i find it very difficult while reading a post, and words like "macroblocking" and "bitstream" appear.
Can anybody tell me what do these words mean?

Bitstream = The transmission of binary digits as a simple, unstructured sequence of bits. (or even simpler a digital data flow of your video/audio information).

Macroblocking = have a look for an example on here (macroblocking can be a result of the player choking or inherent in the encode on the disc)

Yes, thanks from me too, Vonhosen.
That Anime link was very informative.
The instantaneous comparison of before and after shots was an eye opener!

    Nice link!

That was a really horrible looking anime DVD... I have to say, in all areas except the color correction, he's only made it look worse though. You can't polish a turd...
