    Happy new year everyone. :clown:
    Just a quick poll to see who uses what bitrates (regardless of format, atrac/aac/mp3 etc).
    Just tick the one you use most often to encode your music.

    I use Lossless for music that hasn't been "hard copied" to CD yet, and 192 Kbps for all other songs (ie those ripped from CD's I already have)

    You need more options. 256K VBR being wot I use.

    If it's a type of VBR, check the VBR option. (I wanted to differentiate between lossless, variable bitrate, and then subdivide the fixed bit rates for the options)

    When I had my old NW walkman I used to use 128kbs and still do for my netMD so I have selected that for now, although when I get a new mp3 player I'll be using 192 or 256kbs (my old player had only 64mb, compared to at least 1gb for any new player I'll get).

    Well, that's good....seems i picked the correct rate then judging by its popularity :)
