Hello all,

Just upgraded my speakers to the cambridge aero line and was wondering how i should place my rears?
The space behind me is very limited as shown.

Usually higher, and on the wall. You want the dipole speaker effect to let the sound 'float' around you, rather than hear the speaker directly.

A bit of googling says you should have them on the Sides. Putting them at the full rear can cause the sound-stage to shift away from where you want it to be. Putting at the sides keeps the sounds coming roughly from where you want them to, while still creating the null that tricks you in to hearing things with that more diffuse rather than direct style.

Although, in your room, you're going to need to dampen some of those hard edges!:D

There is no null in bipole from what i read?
I read that's what you should do for dipole but havnt found any definitive answers for bipole speakers

but would it be ok to put it in the corner facing the chairs? with one pointing behind and on in front?
Side wall mounting will be difficult as one is an outer wall so solid and its rented :p
