    Hi!

I’m considering removing my surround and surround back speakers from my 7.1 set up and replacing them with a single pair of dipole/bipole speakers. The reason? To free up a set of terminals on my amp so that I can add a pair of height speakers for Dolby Atmos.

I want to avoid losing the sound field that I have around me if possible, which Ian why I’m considering dipoles. I’ve posted a picture of where my current kef 1000 surrounds are and also noted where I would plan to mount the dipoles.

I’ve found a pair of Polk LS/FX that are small enough to fit on my walls for a small price.

Any advice at all is welcome!
