I've been reading these threads trying to understand what Bipolars are and whether they would be good in my situation.

In my case the rears will be mounted on the side wall in the corners and just under the ceiling coving.

The sofas will be pretty close to the back wall.

I understand that the flat of the bipolar should point at the listener which leads me onto three questions.

    (i) Since it is mounted close to ceiling height, should it be angled down.
(ii) As it is close to the corner does it matter that the sound from the back-facing drivers will be fired stright into the back wall (including curtains)
(iii) Would I be better off with monopoles

Bonus question - I'm on a tight budget - are the Gale 3060s any good?

    Cheers,

    Nigel
