iv`e just upgraded to the d500 on orange,so far the phone is damm good.
BUT, Orange have changed the home screen menu and have included short cut icon`s down the left quarter of the screen which i have found cannot be removed. this is not a problem on other uk network`s just Orange.

If anybody has any idea how to remove these PLEASE help.
Because of these icon`s you miss a quarter of the wallpaper image that is there.

    all help is appreciated
    thanx neuty

i fail to see the "BIG" problem :( to be honest i find myself using the quick cuts at the side of the screen more than i would have thought i would, and while the background pic is much smaller its only a pic ;)

    Fair comment SILVERBACK .
i am just annoyed that orange chose to make it a default setting instead of it being an option.
we have a large and high res screen on the phone which is then covered up.
the phone is still great though.
