I have a onkyo A-5VL amp and a pair of q-acoustic 2020. Can I, and would it be worth biwiring the speakers from my amp. I'm not overly knowledgeable with regards to bi wiring.

Bi-wiring is a pointless exercise unless used in conjunction with bi-amping. Bi-wtring on its own simply equates to doubling the thickness of the wire, which in itself can be more easily done by simply having a single run of thicker wire from the amp to the speakers. Bi-amping would allow for the tweeter and woofer drive units to have separate sources of power, supplied to them by separate runs of wire (bi-wire).

As above do not bother biwiring just get some single 2.5mm oxygen free copper cable and you will be fine.
