i received my cambridge audio a5 amp and wharfedale diamond 9.1s today. I had only expected them to come with double conductor cable, but they were supplied from the seller with quad core (biwire) cable.

I wired them up, but i just wanted confirmation that i had done it right.

Basically each side i have wired to each respective speaker. I wired the bottom two terminals to the low frequency terminals on the speakers (bottom pair) and the top two terminals to the high frequency ones on the speakers (top pair).

There wasnt really anything on the amp indicating which pair should be paired to which on the speakers, so i thought i'd come here to check.

    Cheers, Jed

Shouldn't make any difference but feel free to experiment. Just check & double-check that you have maintained correct polarity on both sets of speaker terminal & on both speakers.

Also try to make sure that you have no bare wire showing as it reduces the chances of an accidental short.
